Vintage Movado's have a special place in our collection because of their beauty, rarity and quality! This untouched example is no exception as it's an extremely rare pink gold oversize m95 personalized for the Saudi King from the end 40's. Very few watches were produced on special order for the Saudi Arabian king Abdulaziz Al Saud between 1940-1950. This angular case style can be found in 2 sizes, 34mm and 37mm, the unpolished example here is the rarer large 37mm variant plus it's executed in pink gold. The 3 color original dial bears the emplem of the Saudi King. Movement is Movado's well known in house Cal m95, 3 register chrono which is working perfectly. Attached is a C&W signature period style handmade nubuck strap with Movado buckle. It's hard to capture the beauty of this piece in pictures... it's been used but not polished and very sharp. The aging on the dial only makes this watch more attractive as it shows what true vintage is about. A truly historically important watch!
