NOS NEW Tissot Mediostat from the 40's

Finding a Tissot Mediostat is not so easy, let alone the waterproof variant... but this one is in NOS/NEW condition! It was developed in the early 40's as a doctors watch and contained a special movement. It's similar to a Longines Chronostop but has an extra function... it's a continuous chrono but pressing the pusher half, the chrono hand stops, and pressing it entirely will reset to zero. It's Cal 27.53 and quite special. As the whole watch, the movement is in new condition. The attractive original dial has gold mirror numerals, gold track and gold hands. Strangely enough there are no 30 pulsations dials on these Mediostat's to be found... The steel case with stunning screwback measures 33,5mm ex crowns. Attached is it's original grey leather strap with the original Tissot hang-tag still attached! Rare opportunity in many ways!
