Offered with some reluctance from my personal collection, this is an absolutely mint Tissot Oversize Waterproof chronograph with large pushers, circa 1940. These are similar to the Omega 33.3s but powered by a Cal. 15TL movement. However, the Tissots are rarer than their Omega counterparts, especially with these handsome, oversized pushers. What stands out most is the watch’s pristine, all-original condition. The original multicolour two-tone silver dial is simply stunning, with radium hour markers and hands. It features a blue outer base 1000 scale and a red inner telemeter. The steel step-case measures 38mm and represents the rarer early variant, with a beautifully engraved caseback and prominent pushers. The movement is flawless and has been serviced. Attached is an exact copy of the original strap, which was custom-made in Italy to match a vintage advertisement. Probably the best Tissot 2077 I’ve seen sofar...
