Stunning Jaeger-LeCoultre Duo Date from the end 30's for Turler
Vintage watches often have more character than new... especially this one! This end 30's Jaeger-LeCoultre Duo Date has an amazing presence and character, mainly due to the special patinated dial with extra signature by Turler. It's reference 405 as can be seen in a 1940 French market catalog, even with the same dial (page 75 of Zaf Basha's latest JLC book). The watch is completely original in every aspect and even seems unpolished. The steel 31mm case houses a rectangular movement, Cal 412 which is the same as the Tank variant. It functions perfectly and is in super condition. Attached is an original Gay Freres Bamboo ladder bracelet. The dial color, retailed by Turler and the overall condition makes it one of the rarest and most desirable Duo Dates!
