Just wow! This minty untouched Universal Geneve Medical Chronograph from around 1941 is simply stunning. It features a beautiful, large original and special silver doctors dial (hence the name) with outer Pulsations scale. These were probably delivered as a special order as one finds these in various references. It boasts gold raised numerals with a matching gold chrono hand. As a contrast, the other beautiful hands are all blued. The large unpolished 37mm case is a rare one with angled lugs and small flat bezel to house the big dial. It bears reference 22517. The pristine and serviced movement is UG Cal. 287. Attached is a period style nubuck strap with original UG buckle. Icing on the cake is a very nice and rare UG box. Super clean, very rare and beautiful, this Medico-Compax is a great and very affordable addition to any collection.
