Omega Constellation De Luxe Full Set Full Gold from 1956

This is the Omega Constallation de Luxe... the most luxurious and expensive Constellation Omega made in the 50's. They were solid gold throughout with one of the most beautiful bracelets in the watch bussiness... It's a very heavy full 18K 'brick' bracelet with sliding mechanism in the clasp. The bracelet in itself is very valuable because of the rarity but also because of the gold content. To live up to the word 'Luxe' Omega also made the dial out of solid gold! This example has a stunning all original pie-pan dial with polished markers and hands and 12 facets. The 18K case is unpolished which is a rare thing for a 66 year old gold watch. It measures 35mm excl. crown but wears much bigger due to the gold bracelet and is ref OT 2799. To enhance the luxurious feeling, some were delivered in silver boxes like these. Many were converted into cigarette boxes but this example is still original and even has the outer cardboard box. The movement is the Omega Cal. 354 Automatic which is Chronometer certified and is running very strong. The watch further comes with open papers and an Omega extract. It was delivered to Switzerland in 1956. It's extremeply rare to find one of these all complete with bracelet, boxes etc. Plus it's been unpolished which only adds to the value!
