Minty Ulysse Nardin 36000 Chronometer Automatic Oversize
This is one of those special high grade vintage watches which is still under the radar... It's the Ulysse Nardin Chronometre Automatic 36000 from around 1969. The name is derived from the high quality Officially Certified Chronometer movement which beats at 36.000 semi-oscillations per hour. Therefore the seconds hand also moves more smoothly than regular watches. It's a super nice and clean watch with a lovely simple design which oozes quality (I'd say similar to vintage Omega's & Grand Seiko). The unpolished screwback case is the perfect size and measures over 36mm excl. the beautiful original crown. The caseback bears the UN logo. The white, large original no lume dial further enhances the quality. It's also the first series with the more beautiful applied steel UN logo. Attached is a period style black pigskin strap. It's hard to find a better price-quality proposition which combines style, quality and a great brand!
