First series Omega Ploprof with original papers + service papers
These are such cool watches...there's nothing else like it! Chucky, big & bold, you see it was purpose built for diving. The Omega Ploprof diver was worn by celebrities like Jaques Cousteau and Gianni Agnelli for both pratical and estetical reasons. The example we have here is an all original first series ref 166.077 (approx 1970) and in great condition (a bit used as they should be!). A lot of these have new service parts like dial and bezel but this retains all original parts. The original dark-blue dial is in great shape as well as the case. The backelite bezel has a few cracks which is normal for such a tool watch and actually enhances the vintage original look. As a big bonus it comes with the original papers, sold in Madrid, Spain in 1978 (many watches in period were sold years later as they were special pieces). It furthermore comes with service papers from 1989 and 2021, both from Madrid service centers. Attached is the original blue Isofrane band. Super Ploprof!
