Early Tudor Homeplate Montecarlo with Mille Righe Pushers, papers and rare Box
This special Tudor Homplate comes from my personal collection. It's also called the Porsche Chrono due to some period advertisements with Porsche and therefore the perfect Cars & Watches connection. It's reference #7032 with steel bezel (less fragile than the bachelite version #7031). It's an early production from 1970/1 and still retains the special 'mille righe' pushers which have aged fantastically due to use. Also the case is in unpolished condition! Often these more beautiful and finer pushers have been changed during service. What makes this one a bit more desirable is the extremely rare and cool original orange 'cigarette' box (inner and outer). Few remain as it could be used as a display box but also as an ash tray (how 70's). It also comes with it's Tudor plastic tag and open papers. The original dial has aged lightly into a beautiful patina. The original folded bracelet #7836 has 12 links with 580 end-links. Certainly one of the more desirable Homeplates...
