Very rare Tissot 28,9 Chronograph with special case

This is a very rare watch... it's the smaller brother of the Lemania/Omega/Tissot Cal 15TL/33.3... Made from the end 30's to the early 40's these Caliber 28.9's were made in much, much lower numbers and for a shorter period. The cases and dials are the same design and parts like crowns, pushers etc are the same as the 33.3/15TL. This example has a unique original case which I've never seen before! It's a cylinder case with special facetted lugs measuring 32,5mm excl. crown. It's got the lovely olive pushers and beautiful original crown. The original dial has aged but is still very nice and show's it's age beautifully with black & blue printing and blued hands. The 28.9 movement is very clean, was serviced and is working nicely. Attached is a period style bamboo strap with clasp. Unique piece!
