Lotus Elan S4

Lotus Elan S4 from 1968. Regarded by many as THE classic car one should own or at least have owned once in their life! Certainly one of England’s car icons. Light and very agile it drives fantastically, especially this model which was converted from a street car to a semi-rally/hillclimb car. Thus benefitting from a galvanised chassis, suspension and engine improvements/parts from a 26R. Recently benefitted from a respray, new brakes, new wheels (the originals are included in the sale as are many other spare parts) and engine work (dyno file included with 120 bhp). It retains it’s original seats and door panels and even has an original hardtop. Ideal car for classic events/rally’s and a solid investment. The car comes with Italian title & FIA pass.

Giulietta Sprint Veloce 1300 Racecar

Finding a proper Alfa Giulietta racecar can be a challenge, but finding a real Veloce with period racing history is nearly impossible… but, here it is; an original 1958 Giulietta Sprint Veloce 1300 (VYX 2) with documented racing history since 1959. It was bought new by Mr. Sheperd-Barron from the UK (always been a LHD) and was immediately converted to race-spec for the 1959 UK Production Sports-Car Championship. It proved to be very competitive in fighting with the likes of Clark in his Lotus Elite and won no less than eight 1st places, ten 2nd and six 3rd (out of 32 outings). Mr. Barron continued to campaign VYX 2 succesfully in the 1960 season before selling it to Mr. Tony Sanderson at the end of the 1960 season. After some time, the car ended-up back in Italy where it was bought in 1987 and brought to the Netherlands. It was then fully restored and prepared according to FIA classic race spec. Since then, the car has extensively campaigned in the European classic race scene. The car will be offered for immediate use and comes with FIA passport and lots of period race documentation and some pictures. Rare opportunity.

Alfa TZ1 Superb Recreation

In my book, the TZ1 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made; clean elegant lines with the sole purpose of winning races & rallies which it did in the mid 60’s, beating Porsche’s and Ferrari’s. It was so fast because it was light (700kg) and advanced, having a tube-frame with alloy body, independent suspension & disc brakes all round and Alfa’s DOHC 1.600cc engine (some with double ignition). This example is one of the best and most faithfull re-creations made by some of the best specialists with no cost spared. It took 15 years to finish, mainly because as much original parts as possible needed to be found (chassis + some important parts were bought together with an original Le Mans TZ1, 20 years ago). These include original; racing fuelltank, gearbox, diff & brakes, engine parts and radiator, steering box and radiator & side window frames.  Engine is the latest spec with GTA head and double ignition having approximately 135 bhp, it has mild cams, ideal for rally use and runs very smoothly. Upon request we can install racing cams which will increase power to at least 160 bhp. The car has been on the dyno and has done approx. 800 kilometers, including 3 vintage car events in the Netherlands. It truly drives exceptionally. The interior has been made exactly like the original spec with the original materials. With the last original example selling for 627.000 euro, this is example is a very good and much cheaper alternative which is perfect for vintage racing or rallying without having to worry about damaging a piece of automotive history but with all the joys such a car brings. Giulietta Sprint 1600 Rallycar

This is without a doubt the best rally Sprint available in the market. This car won the famous Dutch Tulip rally twice and is prepared to the extreme with no cost (& time) spared. The specifications list is too long to mention… The base is a completely restored body (1962, 1600 Sprint) which has been welded and even double sills were made to improve shell strenght (along with the roll-cage). The engine is a very fast 1600 with 45 Webers, Cosworth pistons, longer inlet (higher torque) and has 155 genuine BHP. The engine has only done 2 rally’s. Further specs: short ratio gearbox with long 5th. short 7-41 diff with limited slip (50%). Also available is a 8-41 diff. Special hydraulic clutch, radiator, battery behind the seats. Thicker stabi, Koni’s, better springs, alloy carter protector. large Veloce petrol tank (with protective plate). The interior is fully converted to rally spec with sports seats, anti roll-cage, halda Twinmaster, stopwatches etc. It’s an awesome and fast car which will be a rally winner (provided you’ve got the right navigator :). Not the cheapest but surely the best car in the market. More pics on request.
