Rolex RED Air King with B&P

Probably the rarest Rolex Air King ever made… Rolex usually used red-text for the earliest examples or prototypes/special models. This one has Air King & super precision written in RED. It was made in 1958 & delivered in 1959 to Singapore which makes it one of the earliest Air Kings with ref 5500. As an extra, this dial also has the Explorer configuration and is completely original with nicely aged luminous dots. The steel case with serial 369xxx measures 34mm excl Rolex crown and looks hardly polished. Movement is the automatic Rolex Cal. 1530 which is working fine. Really rare is the fact that it comes in it’s original box including Air King Cigarette card and it has the original papers. Attached is a new Rolex croco band with buckle. Truly rare piece which will only go up in value.

Longines ‘Stop & Go’

What a lovely and rare little Longines this is… it’s a so called ‘Stop and Go’ chrono which was made just before the ‘Chrono Stop’ and uses the same base calibre. A similar model but in gold is pictured in the Longines book by Goldberger. This example is in a great original condition with beautiful original black military dial with all original hands and luminous markers. The steel case measures approx. 33mm excl the original crown. because of the thickness of the case and rotating bezel it looks a bit larger. The reference is 20187 and was delivered to Slovakia in 1938 (Longines Archive info). Movement is Cal 12.68Z Stop which is running perfectly. Attached to the fixed lugs is a period style pigskin band. A truly rare piece which will compliment any Longines collection.

Great looking Enicar Sherpa Super Divette from the mid 60′s. Beautiful all original condition with stunning black dial with rotating inner-bezel. The steel case measures a nice 36mm excl the original Enicar crowns. Movement is Enicar’s own automatic which was recently serviced (my watchmaker closed it really tight so can’t open the caseback). Longines 13ZN Oversize Sandwich dial

This is one of the earliest and most desirable Longines 13ZN’s. Longines made the 13ZN from 1936 with a single pusher, and enamel dials. In 1937 they started with two-pusher models in 35mm and few with oversize 37mm cases. This example is one of the latter with rare 37mm oversize case which was delivered to Italy in 1937 (Longines archive info). Even more rare is the stunning original Sandwich dial, made from 2 layers. Above all it’s original, three colors with inner scale. It’s also the largest dial fitted to a 13ZN which makes the watch look even larger. The original blued hands are stunning and really suit the watch. The 13ZN Flyback movement is running strong and remains one of the best movements ever made. The steel case is in superb condition and has ‘fixed’ lugs. Ultra, ultra rare 13ZN which will complement any Longines collection.

Omega Speedmaster 861 with ‘First Worn’ Caseback

This Speedmaster # 145.022 was made only for 9 months just after the Moonlanding in 1969 and is therefore one of the rarer versions. The difference with the regular 145.022 Cal. 861 is the special caseback and a different bracelet. This one is fully original and in very good overall condition. The beautiful original dial has nicely aged indexes and it still retains the original hands. The Cal. 861 manual movement has been serviced and has serial 32 mio. which dates it to 1970. The original bracelet is a rare version which was also used for a short period also. The watch will be delivered with an original Omega period box. It’s one of the best examples I’ve seen of this model.

Heuer Chrono by Turler

Rare Heuer Chronograph from the fifties retailed by Turler. Whilst Heuer is most famous by their 60′s / 70′s sports watches, they actually made really nice watches in the 40′s and 50′s also. This lovely steel chrono has a beautiful steel 35mm screw-back waterproof case with Heuer engraving in the caseback. The original dial with luminous markers is in great condition, sligthly aged and has the Turler signature (Swiss retailer who originally sold the watch). The original blued hands are stunning and match the blue base 1000 ring perfectly. Movement is Heuer signed with a Venus base and is working perfectly. Rare piece which is still affordable compared to the later Heuer chrono’s.

Breguet Type 20 Flyback XX

One of the cleanest designs ever made, certainly the most beautiful winding crown ever designed. This is the first series of the famous Breguet Type 20 from 1954. It’s the military variant with military engravings & service marks and unmarked dial. It comes with a Breguet Extract which states it was delivered to the ‘Ministere de l’Air on the 17th of June 1955′. The steel screw-back case is in great condition and measures 38mm excl crowns. The dial and hands are original and have aged nicely with the tritium markers having a tan color (pictures are a bit reflected but the dial is really nice). Movement is the famous Valjoux 222 with Flyback which is in very good condition and just serviced. Attached is a nice brown leather band. These are getting thin on the ground, combined with a price to sell you have to act quickly. The last one (with relumed markers) sold at auction for appox. 13.000,- euro in May 2012, so this one really is a steal.
