Breguet Type XX Military Pilot chrono from the French Airforce

  Type 20-1

Breguet Type XX Military Pilot  Flyback chronograph from the French Airforce. One of my favourites, the most famous of all the Type 20 chrono's (Airain, Auricoste, Dodane & VixaType 20's exist + Hanhart). Made in 1954 specifically for the French army pilots. This is the first reference 5101. These army watches did not have Breguet printed on the dial, together with the clean design + huge crown makes it the nicest looking Breguet Type XX (to me at least). It's a very high quality watch with a large 38mm steel case and rotating bezel. Flyback movement is Cal Valjoux 222 and is in perfect working condition. The overall quality & orifginality is excellent, with the best original patinated dial & hands I've seen in this model. On the back, the FG marks (Fin de Garantie) are clearly visible. These are the dates the watches were serviced at the factory. Attached is high quality tan band which makes it look very stylish and matches the indexes perfectly. Excellent price-quality watch.

Eberhard Contograph from the 1960's

  Contograph-1

Eberhard Contograph Chrono from the 60's. Awesome design, quality and very rare. But, so undervalued. This watch should at least command twice the asking price. Several reasons for this: the brand, quality, design, features etc. The case is the same as the early no guard Speedmasters. The movement is Eberhard's own high quality 310-86 with quick dateset, similar to a Valjoux 72. The original black dial is great, gold printed with alternating red-black date. The 39mm steel screwback case features a rotating bezel. Attached is a NOS Tropic sport rubber strap which suits the watch perfectly. As said, hard to beat this price-quality, but above all, it's stylish. Sporty yet elegant and 100% original.

Price: Euro 1.860,-

Vulcain Cricket Nautical Alarm 1960's

Vulcain Naut-1 Rare First Edition Vulcain Nautical Alarm from 1961. Very desirable and similar to the JLC Polaris. This is something really special & rare. It's the original version (not the re-edition) of one of the most famous diving watches. This example came from the first owner's wrist, having been serviced but never polished. The original grey/black dial is in great condition, it even has it's original crystal (some hairline off course). The dial itself can be rotated by the lower crown and features apenditures for reading decompression tables. The stainless steel case is massive, measuring 42 mm excl. crowns. It has not been polished and therefore has very sharp edges but also retains some scrates & dings which we prefer to leave as is (it's a toolwatch, right). The high grade Vulcain manual movement has just been serviced and features an alarm which is supposed to be heard, even when 300 meteres below the surface. The price is a bargain compared to a Polaris.
