Rare Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Barracuda: This might well be one of the rarest Blancpains, especially in the Fifty fatoms series. Made for Military use for the US Navy & German Bundeswhehr in the end 60's. It is believed that not more than 150 pieces were made. This example is in 100% original condition with amazing dial with red-cream indexes, a combination which looks great on the wrist. It has a large 41mm screwback case with rotating backelite bezel. The automatic movement is the AS 1902-03 and is running perfectly. Attached is the original 20mm tropic divers strap. It's an amazing vintage watch which has all the right aspects: large size, super condition, rare and very wearable due to the rugged automatic movement with date.

Ultra rare Blancpain Aqua Lung / Fifty Fathoms: This is one of the most beautiful watches ever made, it's the first real divers watch with a rotating bezel made in the early fifties, before the Rolex Submariner was born! It's huge, especially for the fifties and measures 42 mm excluding the original crown. The rotating bezel is made from backelite and is much larger and distinctive than later models. This is the US version which is rarer than the European version (called Fifty Fathoms). It's an amazing piece in very good original condition. The original dial has very nicely aged and have the same patina as the hands. The Automatic movement is the AS 1361 N which is running strong. Attached is a new period Tropic divers band. Even Jaquest Cousteau and his crew wore these in the 50's and 60's!
